after 1 week CA!! wakaka!

♥ haizz. finally finished my 1st week Ca ♥...overall ,can be said is really really busy but it is really very fun!...my ward is 11c..is a surgical ward... inside gt a lot of patients r pre and post surgery..

♥In my ward,each cubical gt 6 different patients..each patient was having diffrt problem,diffrt diseases.. i need to get know them well in order to prevent any mistake and protect myself from getting any infection too..i must go to see all the patient case sheets before i 'm touching the patient...this is because the patient may have the scabies,TB and even HIV and so on la..

♥everyday,1st thing tat i should do when i 'm coming into the ward,i must see the patient report..i must check when should i take the ♥TPR(temperature,pulse and respiration),♥spO2,♥BP(blood pressure) for these patients.this is the basic things that i must do it.then i i also must record down the♥ IO chart.♥.intake and output chart..@@

♥@@ i gt one interesting thg want to share wif u all...@@ when i was feeding a 97 years old patient..,he vomited out all the food including BLOOD!! ♥ OMG!♥ how????? i run out quickly frm the ward and ask the stuff nurse forhelping me.. @@ coz i can't do anythg wat! and i oso dunoe hw to continue do it! so pity ...haizz sorry uncle♥! but he gt ♥"epistaxis",tat 's y he vomited the blood..!

♥the stuff nurse taught me hw to do if this incident happen again..she said go and take one ♥plastic bag,then wear ♥glove and♥ apron,as well as a ♥new shirt and ♥pant.help the patient clean his body and put the ♥blood clot into a clean plastic bag for a test..then help the patient chg his dirty shirt and pant..

♥= = the 2nd day,the stuff nurse asked me to feed that patient again ..wat the hell! i really really scr he ll vomit out all the thg such as stomach and small intestine like yesterday! @@.. when he was swallowing the 1st spoon of porridge,he coughed until i thought he ll collapse..luckily it din happen! thz♥ GOD♥!haha after that ,his maid came and feed him!

♥i also saw the nurse help the patient change the♥ indwelling urinary catheter into urosheath♥..she pulled out the tube frm the penis and the blood could be seen on the tube..damn painful sia! then she helped the uncle to put the urosheath ( is like a condom thg) into the penis.

♥anyway,i m really enjoying in this CA♥♥...i learnt a lot of things through the CA .♥♥. and i realise that it is just the beginning of my nursing course.. i still have a lot of things need to learn.. now,i feel i din make any ♥wrong decision♥ to take this course.. i' m enjoying it ,i 'm loving it!♥♥
